The significant opportunity U-Battery presents for the UK and Canada will be explained at the International SMR and Advanced Reactor Summit 2018.
The conference in Atlanta, from 27-28 March 2018, is being attended by U-Battery General Manager Steve Threlfall.
He is providing a developer’s perspective in which he will outline the design for the micro nuclear reactor, the progress made to date, potential markets and the next key milestones.
Steve said:
“U-Battery has significant market potential for energy intensive companies and organisations that require off-grid heat and power.
'It can be used as back-up support for large nuclear generating sites, instead of diesel. It can provide solutions for water scarce areas through desalination, and it could generate hydrogen for hydrogen powered vehicles.
'We are committed to delivering the value U-Battery can provide and we currently have a dual track approach of developing in both the UK and Canada.”
