We’re pleased to present the opportunity to join Urenco as Global Process Owner. This role is open to all Urenco sites, UK, Netherlands, Germany or US.
The Global Process Owner is responsible for the overall performance of engineering within the operations and site functions through designing and authorizing the implementation of group standards and processes that include best practices, are monitored for performance and continuous improvement, and effectively and efficiently support the fulfilment of the Urenco Business Strategy and applicable regulatory requirements.

What will your day look like?
The GPO holds the responsibility and authority for managing overall performance of specific group wide functions (e.g asset operations, maintenance) implementation and monitoring in accordance with group wide standards and global processes with responsibilities as follows;
- Establish, implement, maintain, improve and or advance any required group policies, standards, work processes in compliance with applicable regulatory and governance requirements
- Create a community of local process owners, defining long and medium-term objectives, strategy and policy for Group wide processes.
- Establish KPIs, trends and targets. Monitors and reports process performance against agreed targets.
- Co-ordinate budget and investment proposals for agreed process improvements
- Lead the development and implementation of group wide initiatives, special projects including the oversight of workstream changes as part of the Operation Strategic development plan.
- Set up training programmes, coach, motivate and monitor performance of local process owners.
- Communicate and report progress to the ExCom (Executive Committee) Operation Technology Executives (OTE) meeting Operational leads in Commercial & Finance as well as local management staff
- Lead on significant event investigations
- Review, address, prioritise, implement, track, prevent repetition and validate effectiveness of events with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
What do you need to be great at this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or other related field.
- Project Management qualification preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant politically, statutory, regulatory and trading environments
- Management experience, with the ability to motivate, coach and influence
- Embrace continuous improvement and innovation
- Good verbal and written communication skills, customer service orientation
- Ability to travel to all sites – Almelo, Gronau, Stoke Poges, Capenhurst & Eunice
