Know every day why you do it

As well as sharing our global culture and values, our Capenhurst site has its own unique culture.

We have a monthly wellbeing programme which offers activities, webinars and guest speakers who focus on a range of topics for motivational tips, mental health awareness and general health and wellbeing.

Chester Zoo is a key partner for us on site, and our employees are eligible for discounted day and annual tickets. We recently funded a new endocrinology lab experience designed to educate people about the importance of sustainability and conservation, in an engaging and accessible way, sparking an interest in science and its possibilities.

We have a close relationship with the Capenhurst and Ledsham Parish Council and often support activities within the local village, our employees volunteer once a quarter to litter pick alongside the Parish Council to keep our community tidy!

Like the wider Urenco Group, we have a volunteering programme which supports many local organisations and schools, Chester Zoo, Share Aid and Save the Family have all benefited from our employee allocation of 8 hours of volunteer time per year.
