Urenco USA proudly supports the NMJC Foundation
17 June 2025 UUSAUrenco USA is proud to support the New Mexico Junior College Foundation as we continue our partnership with NMJC.
Our $100,000 donation to the NMJC Foundation for 2025 will support interested students and instructional expenses for the Energy Technology program. For years, NMJC’s Workforce Training Division and Urenco USA have partnered on the Energy Technology certificate and degree programs to prepare students who are interested in a career in the nuclear industry. The curriculum for these programs is continuing to improve as higher education and business work together to build quality training programs in the energy sector.
One marked improvement is the development of an internship program, and Urenco USA is excited to welcome the first students working on their practical experience to our plant this summer.
We look forward to growing our workforce pipeline of local students who are trained through NMJC and to providing additional employment opportunities here in the EnergyPlex in New Mexico.
