Sharing expertise at the Waste Management Symposium

Over the past week, colleagues from Urenco Nuclear Stewardship joined industry professionals at the Waste Management Symposium in Phoenix, Arizona. The conference, concerned with topics relating to the management of radioactive waste, provides the premier open forum for discussing and seeking safe, environmentally responsible, technically sound and cost effective solutions to the management and disposition of radioactive wastes and the decommissioning of nuclear facilities to enhance the transparency and credibility of the global radioactive waste industry.

Joining the 2000+ nuclear waste industry delegates from more than 30 countries was Senior Waste Engineer, Richard Kipling, and Waste Services Manager and RPA, Allan Wilson who were chosen to share learning and best practice in their presentations of projects completed by Urenco Nuclear Stewardship at the Capenhurst nuclear site during the conference.
