Urenco has set ambitious goals to reach net zero by 2040, and has set out a roadmap on how this will be achieved. Part of the plan includes helping employees to make sustainable choices both at work and at home, which is why 22 electric vehicle (EV) charging points have been installed across our UK sites in Capenhurst and Stoke Poges.
The charging points are free for employees, contractors and visitors to use, supporting those who currently have EVs as well as those considering purchasing or leasing one in the future, which will help to reduce Urenco’s indirect CO2 emission levels.
The UK installation marks the final step in bringing EV charging facilities to all of our global locations, joining our sites in Germany, the Netherlands and the USA to complete another milestone in our net zero journey.
