Members of Urenco’s Head Office team were delighted to support Thames Hospice get ready for the official opening of their new site.
The facility in Maidenhead opens today, providing crucial care for patients and their families in our community.
The Urenco team’s role was to help prepare and move garden furniture that will allow the patients to enjoy views of the beautiful gardens and Bray Lake.
Sally Goodenough, who coordinates Urenco’s volunteering efforts, said: “Giving back to our communities is an important part of Urenco’s sustainability programme. Each year every employee can provide eight hours of support to a local organisation within work hours, with several choosing to supplement this in their own time.
“Our Head Office employees selected Thames Hospice as a charity they wished to assist, with both donations and volunteering. We look forward to helping with future initiatives.”
