On 4 May 2014, Mr Huub Rakhorst officially handed over his post as Managing Director of Urenco Nederland to Mr Ad Louter.
Mr Rakhorst, who turns 65 later this year, officially retires from Urenco as of June 1, 2015. His successor Mr Louter accepted his new role during a gathering with all employees at the Almelo plant. In his leaving speech, Mr Rakhorst expressed a warm thank you to the employees for their contribution to Urenco’s continued success. Mr Rakhorst has been with Urenco for 30 years, of which 12 years as a Director. During this time, Urenco Nederland saw a substantial increase in capacity growth.
