Urenco Nederland MD receives royal award upon retirement

Huub Rakhorst, former Managing Director of Urenco Nederland, received a high royal award from the mayor of Almelo in recognition of his achievements for Urenco Nederland, the Urenco Group and the Dutch and international nuclear sector. It was presented to him at his farewell party on 21 May. Huub Rakhorst was very honoured and surprised and momentarily lost for words. It is quite rare that the title “Officier in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau” is awarded in the Netherlands.
