On 1 February representatives from Urenco’s Head Office joined the celebrations at The Stoke Poges School for the official opening of their STEAM cabin.
Urenco donated £10,000 from its social impact programme towards the building of the cabin, which will provide a dedicated space for students to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM) in a very interactive and engaging way.
Teachers and Students alike were thrilled about this fantastic new resource specially equipped to inspire the next generation in multiple disciplines.
Liz Astley, Headteacher, The Stoke Poges School said:
"We are extremely grateful for our partnership with Urenco and their support of our STEAM Cabin project. Our new facility will provide our children with an exciting and engaging learning experience, which will encourage development in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. We're sure that the facility will be a great asset to our school for many years to come and would like to pass on our sincere thanks to Urenco for their very generous donation towards this project."
