Urenco has launched a global leadership programme to further develop its leaders, as well as those of tomorrow, with the skills they will need as our business continues to evolve.
Our aim is to develop more skilled, aligned and energised leaders who are committed and willing to learn.
This is part of our wider, long-term culture programme to help ensure we are fully inclusive and foster an environment where all voices are heard and diversity can thrive. This in turn will help us deliver on our business priorities.
The programme will see around 90 current and future leaders, from across the company, take part during the course of the year.
It is sponsored by our own CEO, Boris Schucht, and individuals will be selected carefully to ensure a mix of function, location and diversity.
Harro Blokhuis, Director of Urenco Nuclear Stewardship (UNS) and Head of the programme, said:
“By bringing these leaders together to share knowledge, experience and advance their learning, they will play an important role in ensuring we have the behaviours, capabilities and insights we need to thrive in the years ahead whilst also acting as true role models for others.”
