Ensuring everyone in Urenco has a voice

With our people as the foundation of our organisation’s strategy, our aim is to create a winning team, with employee engagement as a key element of this.

Through our employee engagement activities, Urenco’s goal is to maintain high levels of employee commitment and satisfaction.

Our European Forum met virtually with Urenco CEO, Boris Schucht, this week. The forum informs and consults employees on matters of a pan-European nature and is made up of representatives elected from each of Urenco’s European sites. It affords a useful opportunity to update the representatives on a variety of topics and answer questions and concerns that they raise on behalf of their site colleagues, to inform future decision making.

The forum is supplemented by multiple face-to-face and digital communication channels promoting two-way dialogue.

We believe that everyone in our organisation should have a voice and we are working to increase the psychological safety employees feel around giving their views and opinions. Our aim is to achieve a truly inclusive culture, where we celebrate our differences and embrace a wide range of perspectives to ensure a healthy and happy workplace and Urenco’s long term success.
