Advancement in the hydrogen sector for Urenco ETC’s subsidiary NPROXX
The creation of industry-leading hydrogen storage and transportation solutions has been advanced following a joint venture between Enrichment Technology Company (ETC) subsidiary NPROXX and Cummins Inc.
ETC is Urenco’s joint venture company providing highly efficient centrifuge technology and applying its knowledge of advanced materials to other products.
Its subsidiary NPROXX is dedicated to the design and manufacture of pressure vessels for the storage of hydrogen and to be used for transportation, from fuelling heavy duty vehicles and buses, to ships and cars.
Cummins adds to NPROXX’s expertise in this area, being a global technology and power solutions leader, providing customers with hydrogen products for a range of applications across the transport sector. The joint venture will continue under the name NPROXX.
Rainer vor dem Esche, Managing Director, NPROXX, said: “This strategic investment will help us to grow our business in a much faster and more targeted way.”
