Urenco, an international supplier of uranium enrichment services, today announces the appointment of Laurent Odeh as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer.
Laurent, who will take up the position on 1 August 2019, joined Urenco in February 2017, as Executive Director of New Business. Prior to Urenco he worked in Finance, Strategy and Merger & Acquisition and Commercial functions in aluminium, copper and uranium industries globally. In particular, he led Rio Tinto’s sales and marketing activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.
Laurent said: "Urenco is unique in the global enrichment market in having four enrichment facilities in four different countries. We have strong relationships with our global customers and I am looking forward to building on these as we continue to strive to meet their current and future needs. There are growth opportunities within the nuclear industry and new markets to explore. I am confident that with Urenco’s employees, expertise and diverse products and services we are well positioned to ensure the long-term success of our organisation."
